Cambodia Factory Now Complete: Production Ready in Kampong Speu
We’re pleased to announce that Freetron (Cambodia) Industrial Co., Ltd. is complete and ready for production. After the renovation and setup updates we shared earlier this year, the Kampong Speu facility — near Phnom Penh — is now a fully equipped manufacturing site in our network, alongside Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou.
This is the next step in the dual-country strategy we set out when we first expanded into Cambodia: give customers a reliable alternative to China-only production, with the same Wellbase quality standard and a single team coordinating the work from Hong Kong.
What’s on the ground
The completed factory spans 162,000 sq ft, with a starting team of 150 workers and a layout built for both plastic and silicone work:
20+ injection molding machines
8 silicone machines
2 blow molding machines
6 assembly lines
Supporting that floor are in-house color mixing, a mold workshop, and a test laboratory — so color, tooling adjustments, and quality checks can be handled on site instead of being sent out.
Why this matters for your orders
Cambodia gives us two practical advantages at once. Volume and export-oriented work can run here, where trade terms and operating costs are often more competitive for markets such as the EU and ASEAN. China can stay focused on higher-complexity tooling, automation, and development. You still deal with one partner; we decide which site fits the product.
Having a mold workshop and lab in Cambodia also shortens the loop when a tool needs a tweak or a batch needs verification. That is the same “one-roof” idea we use in Shenzhen and Hangzhou, now available at this site as well.
What happens next
The facility is complete and staffed for production. New programmes can be quoted for Cambodia, China, or a split between the two, depending on volume, tooling, and destination market. If you have a project that may benefit from this capacity, the Hong Kong office can walk through options with you.
